OUR STORY
On a trip to England in 2012, three friends met up in London where they talked about the thrills and wonders that they have experienced in the great Malaysian outdoors but how to share it among likeminded individuals. The idea came from the drive of their passion for adventure, exploration, the appreciation of nature and the respect of different cultures.
It took some time to gather all the resources needed and with much time and effort, Hijau Adventures was born in 20th February 2014. With the creation of ‘Hijau Adventures’ they set out to share the passion and their experiences with other travellers and adventurers so they can have the best of what Malaysian nature has to offer. Since the existence of HIJAU, various contributions from youths across our nation have contributed to HIJAU which makes HIJAU a true art of the Malaysian experience.
Our aim is to promote Malaysia’s natural rainforest vibes and experiences that it offers while educating visitors on the ways we can help preserve it. Being an outdoor enthusiast, HIJAU has expended their business into bringing corporations & School Camps into the outdoors by providing corporate retreats a revamp of team building and also catering to various outdoor events. We here at HIJAU endeavor to share and expand the beautiful yet thrilling experience, deliver the best service, create a safe environment and achieve ultimate comfort all while camping out under the stars.
